Peony and her Magical Properties

Unsurprisingly, May is my favorite month of the entire year. Everything is blossoming and shines in bright colours. And my FAVORITE flowers are blooming – Peonies!
I love admiring their beauty in my garden – the voluptous blossom, the soft petals, the way they bow down after a rainpour because of their heaviness.

Magical Properties of Peony Flowers

Not only do they look absolutely stunning, Peonies also have a number of healing magical properties:

Shining Your Light – Peonies blossom short but voluminous! They make the most of their time, wanting to be looked at and cherished. They fully shine their light!
Elegance and Beauty – They are excellent flowers when you are feeling unwell in your skin. Peony „medicine“ promotes feminine appeal and beauty.
Strength in Softness – I read that Peonies are traditionally associated with masculine energy. But I couldn’t disagree more! These beautiful flowers are allowing, blossoming, and attracting bees – which are all thoroughly feminine qualities. The Peony teaches us that there is a strength in softness.

Working with Peony Flower Essence – My Experience

For the entire month I have worked with Peony flower essence from „Healing Earth Store“ (this is not a product placement, I paid for these myself and had amazing results).

Every day I placed 3 drops of the flower essence under my tongue, 3-4 times a day. Here are my findings:

I „blossom“ more and shine my light. – I was practicing for a dance performance and I could really feel how I started coming out of my shell. Just like peonies who blossom in a very short time, but nonetheless show themselves fully with their voluminous petals.

I wasn’t afraid to take up space. Usually I am a more observing and quiet person and like to keep myself in the background (somtimes to my own detriment). The peony medicine helped to claim the spotlight more without sticking out like a sore thumb. Just like all the peony blossoms happily growing from the same bush. They blossom individually while at the same time being a part of the collective.

Beautiful life-affirming synchronicities everywhere – not only is spring around the corner, but I could feel the Universe open up in a light and joyous way. Whether it was rainbows at significant moments, seeing my spirit animal or beautiful gestures by other people – I started being very receptive to the beauty around me.

Receiving love – Dropping my negative suspicions towards others (I’m a Scorpio AND Pluto Rising so I am quite paranoid at times). I noticed my relationships getting much sweeter and softer.
